I gave it a go. Took them a full 9 minutes to get to addressing the topic at hand. 9 full minutes of BS boring facking idle chit chat.
I can’t do it.

 

I should've added that I haven't watched it. I don't know anything other than the guy who does those car videos is involved.

 

In all fairness this was the “cheap watch” episode. I haven’t seen the others. I just kept fast forwarding 30 seconds at a time until the topic of and actual discussion begin, then I shut it off. LOL. I would guess it’s an OK cast, but pod cast evidently aren’t my thing.

 

Thanks in part to you lot, and the ADV lot, I’ve ended up with this.
For me, to my son, and my grandson eventually.

Watch and Listen is pretty much a Watch only, very hard to listen to them describing watches.

But thats a great looking speedmaster.

X-mas 2016 I bought myself two nice Seiko's ...one dress and one military. I've been wearing the dress for a couple of months now, but when I went to put the military style one on, the battery was dead. Shit, a year and a half old watch and the battery is dead. Oh well. So I go to the jeweler this morning and the lady takes my watch to the backroom and she's back in under two minutes. Damn, record time!

"Sir, your watch is solar powered".

Lol, I hope letting the battery die didn't fry it like it would on another type of battery.

Make sure in the future to leave it out so it can get some light. Keeping them in the total dark, or face down, is like the only bad thing you can do to one.

I may still have it in me to get a Rolex/Tudor GMT. Or Panerai.

 

If you can get anyone, in any country, to sell you a stainless Rolex Daytona, Hulk, Batman or the new Pepsi GMT at list price... buy all they will sell you.

 

I've never been there so I don't know. Some people swear by the islands to buy a watch.

I did buy in PR and I'm pretty sure whatever I get next I'll go back to that AD.

 

The AD in Miami sold me the Sub no-date at list. And, they offered to get me the Batman at list.
Heck, I may just wait and see what they quote on the new GMT Pepsi.
