I was in a Best Buy the other day and saw GTX 1060s on for almost twice what I paid for mine. I just had to laugh.

 

Now if someone was in need of a non Ti 1070 8GB card someone could possibly be talked out of one. I don't know that it's a big enough jump from the 1060 to matter much but maybe it is. the 1070 Ti or 1080 makes more sense to me if you are looking to move up from the 1060.

@Venom51 the guy that worked on my computer says that each new generation card is equal to twice the quality of the last gen .
Thoughts ? Reason I ask, is if I won't get a major improvement over my 980TI, I'll wait. Otherwise would there be an advantage to going
SLI with another 980 ?

Kenny and crew have set ups from previous seasons. We also run Motec for data analysis. Most of the time I take Kenny's set up as a base and make adjustments to my driving style. I believe the only place I didn't so that was Suzuka as Kenny and I ran through Motec and he helped me make my own. We all help each other with set up so I wouldn't be to worried about it.
