I will take the wager $100 says zarco wins rookie of the year...but first let's be real 1. Tires were the great equalizer last year 2. The guy who won on the Suzuki left to Yamaha because the Yamaha is simply a better motorcycle in GP form. 3. Hahahaha at Ducati no more wings and no full time stoner. 4. there was 7 open bikes and most didn't finish the race and towards the end of that era "open bikes" we're full fledge old factory GP bikes and only A.espargaro shined.
Here's another gem.... I missed the part when Mav took over the Yamaha garage. I'm not sure Mav is even welcome in the Yamaha garage.
Gem? What am I missing here other than maybe the fact that Mav had more wins, more podiums, and more points than Valentino? Flip that scenario over to the Bologna Boys and it's the same deal - Dovi took over that team as the lead rider. Yeah yeah we all know any team with Vale in it would never see him as second fiddle or else walls go up and he ultimately leaves like he did when Jorge was dominating the standings while they were team mates. My point was Mav would out-point #46 - which he did, and that ultimately he'll end up the lead rider at Yamaha, which IMO he still will. He's vocal about his displeasure in the bike right now but he's also smart enough to know that a little stoking of the fires sometimes ain't a bad thing and Yamaha has been arguably the best balanced bike on the grid for the past 10 years so I'm sure he's just saying stop resting on the past and give me something better next year to bring the fight to these guys.
