This is my belief. I feel very confident. We have supported Kyle for a long time. I believe in his talents. I believe that if given a proper budget and resources, he would win races in 2018. I could most certainly be wrong...Nothing is a given in racing. Ask Ducati who gave George Lorentho $14MM to win....or ask me about my opinion of pre-2017 Dovi. Isn't this why motorcycle racing is interesting? Its more complicated than just talent or money.
Let's not forget Kyle also got hurt pretty good this past season and missed some racing action which obviously didn't help his ultimate points standings. Clearly they thought he was good enough to let him go wildcard in BSB.
I'm with Chip. Big upside on Kyle. He would be competitive. If this were 20 years ago with the current talent pool, he'd be on factory equipment. And his parents would be hanging out in lawn chairs watching their son, instead of working their asses off at the racetrack.
My bad I thought it was referencing Meen a Motorsports and 1.5m I read it while pooping so I was preoccupied
Based on the way this thread has went, apparently this Instagram post from Spies means that Kyle deserves a good ride.
Impressive, hell yeah! But Ive seen plenty of guys in the last 30 yrs give the factory guys fits on their home track. Not irrelevant but more a show of what they can do when the pre-race factors are more even.
