Sean, is WERA going to be running VMD using the vintage rules, V1-V7, or what? WERA seems the only logical choice to help AMA Sports (timing and scoring, tech, officals, etc). The rules and entry form was supposed to be posted with the AMA Sports people this week. What gives? You holding out on the vintage guys? You might say no, but I think no means yes....
He has not wanted to touch this subject with a 10 foot pole. I hope he and wera make real good money to deal with the ama.
And I hope you can focus on the Barber Challenge coming up because i'd hate to see you reduced to a 'Britbike backmarker' due to the super fast 2-strokers coming to humiliate the rest of the grid.:tut: Dont worry about how much money Mongo is going to make, how much will you win? Your only true friend at Barber, Charles
word is that classes are going to be announced REAL soon, and entry fees might be $40.00! chaching.....looks like i can afford to race TWO bikes for TWO days. tim, since you're not going, i'll race the Manx for you. your pal, texy
If I was to go it wouldn't be with the manx because maurice can't stand anything to do with the AMA.He is joining ahrma now that thay droped the ama, how about that.:wow:
Do you have any idea when the class structure will be posted? Do you think modern 2-strokes are going to be out?
Okay, lads you got your answer: log onto the AMA website and you'll see who's gonna be running the Mid-Ohio vintage roadracing program. Very good as far as I'm concerned...you guys need more patience...
Are they still defining classes......I see the form is not the WERA class structure...???.....am I missing something?
