after bike heats up shifting gets very hard i put synthetic oil in it a flipped it 2 gp shift and it got a little better anybodys help would be appreciated
This is will sound very basic, almost stupid, but make sure the shift shaft is as close to with 180 or 360 degree mark (12 or 6 clock) on the output shaft. It MIGHT help if it isn't. I had a similar problem before I cut the shaft that came with the Dynojet Quickshifter.
May be way off, but does it get any harder to go from neutral to 1st when it's hot, like loud(er) clunking, jerking forward?
Because it got easier when you swapped directions, it's very likely the linkage. Make sure that the two linkage heim joint levers are parallel, or as close to parallel as possible. You may need to change the linkage rod length to achieve this.
appreciate the help will try the options out and see what happens keep you posted and still open for options thanks
