So the bulb worked for the first year? Obviously, the quality of light that it produces degraded over time and it now operates on a wavelength that bugs associate with good things, such as sucking blood from your veins while you sleep. Pry open your wallet and buy a new bulb.

 

Then yellow cfl is what’s currently in porch fixture.
