Why the fuck does that happen?

 

GG went 0.1 sec/lap SLOWER in FP2 while the field almost entirely all went faster as is the norm.

Typical for Garrett - comes out of the gate hot, then runs into some barrier - watching his youtube series is like groundhog day - it's always the same process - "killer FP1!!!" followed by "DUDE, I dunno, the bike just feels off, I couldn't ride it, why is Toprak going 1+ sec/lap faster than me...?"

 

How does Gerloff go from top BMW almost all last year to worst this year?

 

If I was a team owner or manager I wouldn't be looking to hire him.

Toprak is a motorcycle magician. He’s comfortable doing things that will make other riders butt pucker. Damned sure is a generational talent with few peers.

 

11 second win is just stupid... I did LOL @ the little show getting a ticket from the constables

 

He and his teammate are closer together than Toprak and his.

It’s clear the Rokit and Bonovo bikes aren’t the same and I have to imagine Bonovo crew is already jumping ship.

 

Toprak on Bonovo bike would have finished over 5 and 10 seconds ahead of Redding and Gerloff on factory team.

 

He’s a freak talent. There is only one of him

 

It will be interesting to see what he can do in motoGP once he gets there.
The way he is going this season, maybe it'll happen sooner rather than later
even though he said he is staying with BMW in WSBK next year.

 

I think he just said he had a contract with bmw for next year and was going to see it out…bmw to motogp next year
