Where to buy small/precision Torx bits?

I need something around a T5, 6, or 7 for the windscreen hardware on this bike. All the Amazon kit listings appear to be (based on reviews) poorly-tempered Chinese products.

Who makes a high quality kit?

I have a set that I've gotten from Lowes that pretty much handled every bolt on my s1000rr.. From windscreen and fairing bolts to oil drain plug bolts.

    So lowes, Home Depot, Sears.

I bought my kit from Harbor Freight. Had it for probably 10-plus years now and it still works fantastic. Just makes sure you keep a light film of oil on it as they do tend to rust if not.

I checked Lowe's last night; no dice. Will try HD today.

Electronics/computer stores if one's closer. You'll pay a bit more, though.

Hobby Town is where we picked up a set, has really small Allen's and Torx.

Picked a set up at o'reilly in a pinch. Expected it to be crap but they have proven to be very good.

Got a set at Home Depot a few minutes ago.

Still mystified why the windscreen hardware is T5, T6, or maybe T7, when the rest of the bike is all fairly normal hex stuff.

    Thanks, all!

Yea, basically check places that sell to machinists or watchmakers (probably more machinists). Those sizes are pretty common around toolholders and indexable tooling.

My bosses can am Spyder same thing. Big ass time waster. I'd like to think it's marketing dumb ass than engineering dumb ass.

I wondered why torx hardware existed at all when Allen head stuff was so normal to me.
I looked it up. Turns out that torx can handle more torque than Allen can.

    From my smatphone.

Proper bits and proper screws they are harder to strip from what I've noticed.

This outfit seems to get a lot of rave reviews for their pricing and quality on their screws....pretty sure they have specialty tools too.
