I want to repack my wheel bearings on a 97 gsxr and when reading he book it says I need a special tool to put them in. Is there a way I can do it without the special tool??, should I even bother repacking them?

you can dig out the seal in the bgr with a pick from the out side of the bgr. and pack in some redline high pressure greese in the bgrs. no need to remove them brake cleaner and air hose the old stuff out.

so, clean them right in there the best I can and then grease them . Sounds easy enough.

Isn't the sealed part of the bearing point to the outside? (This is after to remove the dust covers) Can you really push enough grease into the bearing that way?
