OK, getting down to zero hour and trying to make sure I have everything covered. Can you all tell me what I need to wire on this side of the engine (FZR400)?

Thank you sir. I had a feeling that I needed to do some of those.

My RD sure was easier to safety wire than this FZR!

Just curious, did you get the coolant drain plug behind the header. I don't have a WERA rule book next to me, but I know mine was wired when I had my 400.

I'll check that one too Tony. Thanks for the help.

  8. I know you know this, but as a general rule for other people that might read this thread, the more the better.

In other words, you obviously have to do everything the rulebook says, but then after that, look at your bike and think "what else can come loose?". If there is any doubt, safety wire it.

Vibration and bumps do weird things. If it can come loose, it probably will eventually.

RD, if you're heading to any Summit events, let me know. I'll give that 400 head to you.

Thanks very much. I had forgot all about that! I hope to get there soon.

Man, this is like some form of sadism! Of course all of the allen bolts are hardened steel. I'm going to have to take this thing apart just to get to them.

    This sucks.

Let me know. My plan is to do the June date and one other.

Make sure you get the coolant pipe bolts on top of the motor.
