VIR gate times

I'll be driving down to VIR on thursday night. How late do they keep the gate open. Their website says something to the effect of "gates are generally kept open 24 hours, but when they aren't they are open from 7am to 7pm." Thanks for the helpful information, VIR.

 

i believe that you could get in after 5pm or so, the last few years.

 

hey jon - every time i've been there it was after midnight and the gate was always open. i suppose somebody has to be there to check you into the lodge if you're staying there. i just assumed that was always the case for an event weekend.

 

I called yesterday and the operator there said they were open 24 hours.

 

Is 24 hours the final word?
