Kinda just looks like a Gladius...

Eh, not really. New frame, engine, swingarm, exhaust, separate rearsets for rider and passenger again, blah blah. Looks like it's going to be a better base platform for tracking again.

Seems like an amalgamation of the SV and the Gladius, works for me. Slap some full bodywork on it and go racing :D

The way I translate all that is that it is better than the Gladius as far as power and weight. If it is better than the 2nd gen we might have something to talk about.

That's what I'm wondering. Figure the SV experts will run the numbers and post eventually.

    Bummer about that non-detachable subframe.

That's what I thought too, until I did a side-by-side comparison of the frames...

Would it have killed them to at least weld on the extrusions to accept swingarm spools?

Easier to race prep than a gladdy for sure. I wonder if it still has the anchor of a crank that the gladdy has? One thing the superbikey guys wont like is you cant slap on a gsxr front end. Takes a longer steering stem than a GSXR/2d gen SV.

My interest is piqued. Like others I don't like the fact that the subframe is not separate, but at first glance it doesn't look much more difficult to put on track than the original SV's. It would be nice if it came with a solo seat.
