I read in some article they were talking about some track that’s being built. Passed over the details because I didn’t recognize the track name and thought it was click bait. Wish I had read it closer now.

Let's hope. Being only 80 miles from me, losing Indy was the greatest travesty of my life. :)

I seem to remember reading that Roger Penske would like to have F1 and motoGP back at Indy if it can be worked out.

It'll be flat rock if I was to make a bet. Trackhouse is headquartered in Nashville..

"Northern USA" Means closer to southern Canada. BRING IT ON.

Run it on the F1 street course through Vegas....that ought to be fun.

There's been a rumor of F1 and GP both coming back to Indy ever since they went away. F1 lost Indy when the fee increased by 50%.

Yep. Track layout and paving looks pretty epic with that massive bowl turn.

They are only building the club side of Flatrock at the moment. Only the GP side is planned to be Grade 1 (and the cool banking is on the club side). Still, I would think it will be under consideration if finished as planned. Everything about Indy is great except for the layout, just a tad boring.

I'm hoping that when an Italian says "Northern US" he could mean Flatrock. I mean, if Austin is his reference, then maybe Knoxville is "northern"? Fingers crossed.

They haven't even started on the Grand Prix course at Flatrock. Going to be awhile yet.

Road America? Or does that not fit the motogp requirements?

I was just watching the TrackHouse introduction video on the MotoGP website. I had forgotten that MotoGP's new COO, Dan Rossomondo, is an American, and best of all he's ONE OF US. He loves the spectacle that is MotoGP because he knows he can sell that spectacle to an American audience.

My first thought was "No Wonder that TrackHouse deal went through in like 6 seconds flat!"

Dan sees PitBull involved and he knows he's got half the NBA watching. Eyeballs get eyeballs. Now he has to solve the problem of getting those eyeballs to a race. That means more US races.
