Agreed. Carlos (Carmelo’s son) has been taking on an increasingly more important role to the point where it seems obvious he’s slowly replacing his father as he ages out.
do you know Chuck’s history before MotoAmerica? you should email him, talk to him. That’s the cool part, he makes himself generally available. if MotoGp got Chuck, you’d see some pretty decent changes for sure. just saying, he’s a good one.
Totally agree, search out one of the many moto podcasts, Pipedreams maybe, his history is amazing! Chuck is a F'ng legend!
https://www.roadracingworld.com/news/motogp-new-report-says-ktm-will-be-out-of-motogp-in-2026/ $48 million a year. Not quite pennies.
Four and a half month old news report speculation, based on the court administrator's statement. With the restructuring process behind them, none of us have any idea what KTM will do next year. I personally can't imagine a major deviation from their racing efforts in the major disciplines that are well publicized. It's what they do as a company, not to mention how they have grown their reputation and sales.
Not sure where break even was for KTM but for the sponsors to come up with nearly 48 million seems like they ain't sweethearts no more

So even though there is conflicting information you can see why I would've said this.
Oh I understand for sure and there was a time after Suzuki’s departure when Dorna did say they wanted another OEM to fill that slot. They just changed their mind since. I suspect because it’s cheaper and easier moving 10 teams around the world than 20 and if Liberty media likes 10 in F1, then 10 in MotoGP is fine for them too. Just my guess.
