Fair enough. I shouldn't write off bands after an album or two that I don't care for. Better than Blood...that's a very high bar. I'll give it a listen.
Good point, but I would still rather listen to either Bon Scott or Brian Johnson. Donald duck is better than nails on a chalkboard.
there are only two bands that if they came on the radio at the shop would get me to run to change the station back in the day of radio only options… AC/DC and Scorpions Luckily I was never maimed trying to keep from suffering one more note of that shit in the 80s
I started listening to a Grateful Dead song once. My best guess is that it is still going and hasn't ended.
I went to a Rush concert back during the last ice age. I couldn't tell where one song ended and another started. Even with copious herbal assistance, I didn't enjoy the show.
You're Dreamer, and not very Logical, if you would just Give a Little Bit, you know I'm Bloody Well Right, if not....Goodbye Stranger!
I’m guilty of that too… I loved Pearl Jam and like many of the side projects of many of the members… but after Vitology I just quit listening to any of it, even the stuff I liked… silly but the betrayal of being let down stuck
Kudos on a tbe Nightwish mention earlier. Tarja, Floor or Anette. Also Within Temptation's Faster on the YouTubes has some nice IOM footage
How can you not like Supertramp? I saw them in concert twice and it was a great show. Very talented musicians.
In no particular order.....other than number 1 1. The Ramones 2. The Misfits 3. Bad Religion 4. The Offspring 5. Nirvana 6. Journey 7. Disturbed 8. Berlin 9. Rammstein 10. Nine Inch Nails Honorable mention - Rotersand
I listed Boston because it’s one of those bands from the dinosaur rock era that’s burned into my head and when I hear it now I think it still stands up. Should have put them outside the top 10 and put cheap trick in their place but like I said, my list could and probably would change in an hour or a day and maybe 15 times in a week but the core of it never would.
Slayer Exodus Kreator Death Metallica cliff burton era Iron Maiden Danzig Testament Primus Aaaand….I love some Depeche Mode lol. Going to see them next week.
My list would probably change by mood and day, but in general would include the following: Grateful Dead Rolling Stones up through about '95 Allman Brothers Velvet Underground with Nico Tedeschi Trucks Delaney Bonnie and Friends JJ Hendrix Beatles Jeff Beck in any and all iterations. Drawing the line here because I could go on and on. Again. Mood and day. I like music.
