Black Bean & Corn, Mild w/ on the border cafe style tortilla chips. I'm too gringo for that super spicy stuff but damn a person can make a meal out of this!
Jack's Special Salsa from Garden Fresh Gourmet. I used to get it regularly when I lived in Michigan, and was pleasantly surprised to find out that it's made in Michigan. I'm not too particular when it comes to chips, so Tostitos Scoops for functionality.
Of the widely available chips the On The Border are great. I'm cheap, so usually go with Aldi or Kroger store brand white corn rounds. There's a few big brand salsas (Mrs. Renfro's and Frog Ranch are a couple) that are good, but I usually like the fresh made salsas and Pico de gallo most grocery chains sell in the deli dept. Dislike overly chunky salsas.
Yea haw, ma’ house is on wheels and ma’ car is on blocks! Gotta ride my lawn mower to the piggly wiggly to get two PBR 180s! Goot goooooo!
Well gawd damn, the damn sheriff put a breathalyzer lock on ma’ riding mower! Hey, earl, can you send junior over to breathe in the thing otherwise we’re watching the Alabama game with out beer and I was saving the sterno for cigars after! Roll tide! No can do, Junior is county for stealing all the copper wire in his elementary school. I’ll bring the baby over.
Real authentic Messicans pair that with a block of Velveeta nuked with a can of (preferably expired) jalepenos
Homemade super hot with the thick messican style triangle chips. I'm lazy though and been buying Mateos habanero salsa lately. Mrs Renfros ghost pepper and Jardines habanero are both good salsas too. https://www.rancherofood.com/salted-tortilla-chips/ https://donkey-brands.com/home-mobile/
Since I moved to south Texas....I've used the term "those are the best chips n salsa I've ever had" about 4 times!
