No love for a sponsor that supports motorcycle sports like Mission Foods? I like their strips tortilla chips. They've made chips that look like little indy/F1 cars and motorcycles too.
I'm in the RGV now. I saw a commercial yesterday about Brisket Queso at HEB. I'm gonna have to try some of that!
All the love to Mission for their support but they aren’t my go to. Nothing wrong with them just personal taste.
All I can think of is that dude from South Park yelling hot “hot hot hot.. ooohh hot hot hot aaaawwwww”
You guys in So TX is it all like old MX in the rural areas? When I go to COTA I drive just down from the track and you can’t tell the difference… parking lots full of taco trucks… carnicerias everywhere… I don’t think I’ve spoken any English away from the track when there… hell I had to translate and order for my gringo buddies… I stayed out of Austin proper of course…
If you have a Ingles near you get the brown bag of the ones they make there…. Best ones I have had.. If not Mission for the support..
Fresh Pico de Gallo salsa is the king of salsa. If you cant get that then anything roasted pepper. fresh guac...and dont even think of using one of those pouches on it....is great.
The jalapeno lime tortilla chip needs more exposure. I get the Late July brand and they are superb but pretty expensive, especially when I finish a bag in 2 sittings or less. Tostitos needs to get their act together.
Jacks is absolutely my favorite salsa. I like the thin stuff like at a mexican place. Now, if you want to talk about French Onion Dip and chips......the Kroger brand French Onion is the best of the best. My wife makes some homemade Cowboy Caviar for parties during the summer....that's always great as well.
We use their tortillas and wraps the majority of the times and some of their other products. Stupid Geoff May has me buying Jarritos.
