He's done that for every bad decision he's made . 14-32 record /2-13 against division /5-19 in 1 score games . Should have been fired last season , but him & the GM have same agent who is a former Bears player and has pull with ownership . As I understand it the new President {Kevin Warren} had a lot to do with the decision .
I keep saying(as a Chiefs fan) that an ugly win is better than a loss, but Holy Shit this stuff is hard on you!
Happy Thanksgiving to you and yours too. However your “quick bit of googling” found some obscure modeling being used to come up with a projection of ending SOS. I prefer to actually look at the current SOS or better yet SOV. Eagles are .416 and .398. Their SOS is 2nd worst in NFL. 6 of their 9 wins have come against the bottom 12 teams with 2 more wins against the eventually to be below .500 Washington Fraudsters (.300 SOV) and the currently below .500 Rams. While 2 of their next 3 are against good teams, the other 4 games are against the other NFC East teams and Carolina. Their SOS probably won’t go up much and SOV will only improve if they beat both Pittsburgh and Baltimore even if they beat the rest of the bottom feeders on their schedule. Meanwhile the Lions play in the toughest division with road wins against the Vikings and Packers.
I was thinking how the Lions game ended was bad but Raiders said hey Bears, hold my beer. Raiders were under a 50 yard FG with a chance to win it. Don’t even need more yards. Should’ve been looking to clock it not get more yards. With the Bears they weren’t in FG range so had to get more yards and I’d bet Caleb Williams confused the play and game clock since they could’ve snapped that ball at least 5 seconds earlier and gotten another play.
Remember when they moved a home game to Ford Field one year? The Detroit locals loved it. More football! -T
To be fair, that’s when we didn’t have a team worth watching. We also got the Vikings home game when their dome collapsed.
My son in law was so happy the Bears fired him. @StaccatoFan I see your team is playing the Eagles. I know @SuddenBraking is cheering for his Eagles team to win. Are you joining him and still cheering for your Ravems to lose?
Except for two pseudo jump balls to TE that were somewhere in between "ill advised" and "don't throw that", the Ravens offense looked anemic. Obviously watching Tucker kick is tough right now, but he's not the reason you guys lost. It's also maddening how the bird's offense just takes entire quarters off (I think they ran something like five total plays in the 3rd quarter). Finally, I don't know what the penalty count was but it was crazily in the Raven's favor........a ton of huge penalties (particularly in the first quarter) that kept drives alive for them. Plus it looked like the bird's d-line was getting held a FUCKTON and I don't think there was one flag thrown. But whatever, I guess.
