    Thats the only reason why so many teams were trying to get him. Compensatory draft pick for $375,000 is a good deal no matter how you slice it. Its a win even if he never ever dresses out!

    I watched a clip from the Fitzpatrick/Whitworth podcast today and Fitz said he was a proponent of Jones just taking the rest of the season off to just reset and come back next season.
    It's just his opinion, but Fitzpatrick seems like a pretty solid, grounded and smart guy and he had a very long and happy career.

    I didn’t realize the Eagles had a soft schedule and/or the Lions have a really tough one.

    And after a quick bit of Googling, it doesn’t seem like the world sees it that way, either (that’s the first link that came up).

    The best part is they let him do his morning press conference where he said he was confident he would be coaching the game against SF .
    Then fired him a hour later .
    You got lucky with your prediction. This is the 1st time they fired a head coach mid season .
    Bears fans are rejoicing !!!
    I pray to god they don't make a dumbass move like even interviewing Belichick
