Anything below 40K would be a good deal, used MMX2s generally are in the ballpark of 40-50K.

 

Buys Moto2 bike, has it lowered by the factory... Electric start is $4k?!

But really who cares, wildass machine regardless of the exact cylinder size.

 

While likely true, I would be truly SUPER DUPER excited to ride a 57x Suter 2 stroke and a little excited to ride a Moto2 bike. If I wanted a Moto2 bike, I would get a Kalex.

I actually bid on the 2 stroke about a year ago that was at an action. I'm glad I lost, because my commercial building was sold, and that is how I was going to pay for the bike. Well Covid happened and my building buyer backed out, so that would not have been a fun discussion to have with mama.

 

You buy the 2stroke, ill buy the Moto2. We'll swap for a trackday session or two.

Buy Moto2 version... buy Crighton rotary motor from Brian Crighton... swap Crighton motor into the Moto2 chassis... have best bike ever.

 

Dude, I would definitely do that when I can afford to buy one. I really don't think my life will be complete if I don't get to ride a 500cc 2 stroke on the track at some point. If there was a place to rent a ride, like you can do with supercars, I would do it.

I know I'm slow now, and any decent rider on a modern 600 would smoke me, but I grew up idolizing those bikes and owned two RG500 Gammas and a Honda NS400R. They were fun to ride.
