Hi Guys Can anyone identify this spring? apparently its the only set of numbers on the spring which is very different to other ohlins springs which show the KG/NM rating etc Im trying to obtain a few springs 1.1, 1.15 and a 1.2 but for this shock. Difficult as I have no contact at Ohlins nor is this info available on the interwebz Thanks
Should be an 80 N-m spring. You are looking for R-2877-1100, 1150, 1200. They come in 2.5 N-m increments, that's why the extra digit is there. These are difficult to find. European sources are your best bet. If you want to source a standard spring, (21040/41) they are half the cost of these (just a bit heavier). Sometimes the standard spring will be longer and you have to move to preload unit up on the shock. Send me the free length and ID and I'll get you some part numbers.
Great! Thanks Im unsure on the length, but Ive asked the supplier (he's euro) to supply a R-2877-1100 or 1150 Am I rightr in saying this style shock would run 1 less on rate compared to a standard ohlins non TTX? So, standard springs can be used in these? They are just heavier?? Steve Cramer is our local guy - so normal ohlins dealers can supply? Thanks so much for the info!
