I imagine most people who follow(ed) some of those bands are aware that they're not remotely close to having the lineups they remember. Jani Lane has been dead for awhile, and Quiet Riot only has Rudy Sarzo remaining from the Metal Health era, as Kevin and Frankie are dead, and Carlos hasn't played with them for years. But I understand watching them for nostaligia and to hear the songs again.
Music history would be better off if that tour bus caught fire in the late eighties. Boy is that a lot of suck for $150 !
Yeah I really dont want 2 days of that for 150. Maybe one or two for $20 on one nite. Shit if I know Ive never been to a multi day music fest but I think Is be bored out of my mind and sick if music after 90 minutes.
Not to fear, with that lineup they will clear the stage by 4:30PM in order to get the specials at Golden Corral.
I have it on good authority that they prefer Furr's Cafeteria. Whileyabullshittin I think I might hit up a Furr's one of these days....
A friend sent a video on Commiefornians relocated to Texass...and Buc-ees was the latest place they visited. I think the kids need to visit.
If they could stick to a hard schedule, one could just show up for who they wanted to see and skip the suck.
but they ran for their lives on Thunder in the East. and I never had a metal card. I was a punk who thought that spandex, poofy hair and more makeup than a LA stripper on dudes was stupid. but I did hide in the thrash and speed metal closet. Saw Metallica with Mustaine and then their first show with Kirk (both on accident).
