Yuri Fischer had a seizure on the bench and the first thing the camera's picked up was the commotion with the coaches and players trying to get the doc's attention and then the doc's doing CPR !!!!!!!!! That was scary to be watching it unfold. They had to zap him with the defib ! He's going to be ok. I wonder if his hockey career is over??? They cancelled the rest of the game. Kudos to the NHL.
Thoughts and prayers for his family for sure-- i saw that on ESPN this morning and could only imagine how scarry that was for his team mates and fans... I hope he pulls through and can continue his career.
That was awesome of the NHL to cancel the rest of the game. In any other sport they would of kept going like nothing ever happened. When an incident happens like that, most or all of the players are thinking about Fischer instead of the game. That is when things really get dangerous. Get well soon and prayers for his fiance, family and the Red Wings.
