Renewing a lapsed Racing License?

I was a licensed WERA racer 12 years ago and let my license lapse. I'm intending to get another license and I'm wondering if someone can tell me if I can renew without doing the racing school etc.

how long since your last valid license?
if it was 12 years ago, you will probably have to read the rule book since some rules have been added/changed, and possibly sit in part of a race school class

how long since you road on a race track?
if its been too long, you will probably ride in novice class and then your riding ability will be evaluated

 

Sorry, I was in the same boat last year (had been 11 for me) and you start from scratch just like the first time.
