It takes a real man to take that kind of responsibility for one's own choices. We all choose to do this stupid sport w/ the intention of having the same reaction if it were to happen to us. One never really knows how they'll react until the time comes. I've never met Mark, but I look up to him nonetheless. HD
Wow. Mark, keep up the positive attitude. Will continue praying for your recovery. Many thoughts to your friends and family.
This is just devastating. I was at the trackday yesterday talking with Mark. We spoke about his runs in the AMA races and how much fun that was for him. We left before the end of the day. We must have left just before this happened. My thoughts and prayers go out for Mark, Sam and his family. I live here in B'ham and work just 5 blocks down the street from UAB. If there is anything I can do for Mark, Sam or his family please let me know. Scott P.
Exactly how I feel Scott . This just saddens the whole day for me . If there is anything his family needs that I can help with just holler , I live just an hour away . I've only spoken to Mark about 4 times at Barber/Tally but he was always in good spirits and seems to be a great guy . This type of news is always hard when it's someone you've met
More prayers your way, Mark. A side note: that attitude of Mark's is why the Brits successfully stood alone against Hilter for a year at the peak of his military power. Mark, you da man!
Thinking about Mark always makes me think about him doing fiberglass repair on his video. Well worth a laugh. Get well enough soon. Seems that the phrase "never walk again" doesn't hold as much weight that it used too. Let's hope that rings true with Mark.
