Maybe for you...but I usually make money at the track. I cant pick winning women but I can pick out winning horses
This doesn't work for me. I need some smells and the sound of a two-stroke starting up. So much so that I'm going to my favorite Husky dealer Woolys Cycles of Atlanta to buy one of these fancy new 2 strokes offered below MSRP because of a 'reorganizing liquidation sale.' E-start, oil and fuel injection! I won't know what to do with all the extra time I'll have because I'm not busy mixing race fuel and 2-t oil.
- FI makes life easy - get a 125 so you can use the pit bull pins TIM WILSON makes.. the 50 does not accept pins. being able to load the Zuma with the TRS system also makes life easier and prevents collateral damage.
Before I had the TRS yes my Zuma fell over in the trailer and dug a hole in my floor. Didnt check my sons work of tie down. Good point!
I have an 05 zuma I bought new. Usual mods like Athena 70 kit, carb, variator, etc. has about 1200 miles on it and still rip around on it time to time. I’ll never get rid of that thing. Mines a tad too high strung and if still a pit bike I’d have to take a bit of juice out of the red dragon (even though it’s actually blue). As much as I love all my 2T stuff for a pit bike and get around town hard to beat a 125. I’m probably goong to be struck by lightning for even typing that
I bought my 125 from a local guy who advertised it in the newspaper of all things! Anyways we agreed to a price over the phone. I showed up with my truck and he has the Zuma in the driveway with the battery box cover off and a bunch of tools lying around. He says he's sorry but the damn thing won't start, he'll give a hundred dollars off. I'm comfortable fixing things so the deals OK with me so I pay him. I put the cover back on the box, PUT THE KICKSTAND UP, and ride the scooter up into my truck bed.
I paid $2800 for my 2008 125 like 4 years ago. Had about 2500 miles on it at the time. Was prestine. Now 4 accidents later still runs great just looks well used now.
Please do, I still own a 50cc 2 stroke Zuma and I think it has a kit on it. It had some work done to it, but I've had concussions since then and don't remember what was done.
