    Howdy,

Actually, I went to superbikeplanet to catch up on practice & other misc news and they had in the title of a link that Lorenzo was on pole, before qualifying aired. They do this a lot, but normally I don't care because qualifying doesn't air here.

I don't come here at all before I watch a race (even if I'm watching it "live as it airs", because people are dicks. This thread proves that to be a good, if somewhat sad due to the requirement, policy.

How come you don't apply a similar policy to your self? You regularly bitch about how much you hate Mongo and WERA but somehow don't seem to have the ability to stay off this WERA website, where you inevitably end up reading stuff posted by Mongo. Kinda ironic...

I spent a big chunk of the little money I had buying more motorcycles than I should have. I raced bikes until the very last second I could walk. I haven't missed a GP or superbike race since that ended eight years ago. I generally watch them at least twice, sometimes on the same day. I'd like to think I'm a true race fan. And yet it's still my preference not to know the results the first time I am watching the race.

Hell, I could argue I am more of a race and than you are because the excitement created by the uncertainty of the result is a big part of racing. There is a reason AMA racing is considered more exciting today than it was five years ago. Same reason Moto GP has been more exciting than during the Doohan years.

So please refrain from passing judgment on the what others choose to enjoy their racing.

I prefer not to know the results before watching too. I also understand the reality of the interwebs and if it truly is an issue for me I don't log onto any site on the web related to racing (and that includes social networking sites).

Trust me, in the rare event that I don't see a race live, I wait before I get on the computer. That's common sense. But there is also such a thing as common courtesy that some people just don't get. Just because you can spoil a race result in a title doesn't mean you should.

You can fart wherever you please. But it's considered polite to take a step away from the people you're standing with and do it discreetly. Oh, wait, look I'm saying that to. Nevermind. :D

what if you needed wera info on a ama /motogp/ wsbk race weekend...
I stay off this site and facebook because I normaly cant see a race till late at night once things wind down. So if need info on wera related stuff...

I guess I'll have to wait until I watch the race that I dont like spoiled.
I do lose interest once I know who won.

Rossi comeback race got cut off at lap 9 on my DVR. Someone mentioned the results b4 I could reset my dvr...I lost interest.

I came on here and saw the title "Tommy Hayden says the AMA has turned around" I wasn't expecting it to be from the table of the 3 winners lol. Blown...still watched the race, but was not excited.

I turned on the TV about to watch the recorded super sport race, just so happen Speed news was on and mentioned who won all the Laguna Seca Races, lol

    I laughed to myself.
Decided to watch the final Tour de France instead.

I guess ill watch cardinas win later.
