Saw this on the RD / RZ forum:

*Newtech Ceramics, an Iowa-based start-up firm in Des Moines, has licensed BAM, according to Cook.

Say good-bye to Nikisil plating? Does this mean street legal 2 strokes (non-wimpy displacement) are around the corner?

Very interesting. I'd love to hear more about this if anyone has any insight. My mechanical knowledge isn't the broadest, but I could see this kinda technology being the next big thing in engine design.
