My aunt and uncle had a house built in the early 80s and it cost them an extra $250 to upgrade from a 1 car garage to a 2 car.

 

Is it just me or is there like a half dozen borders that look like animals? I see like a bird, fish, bat, maybe a bear Jesus I'm really more f...d up than I thought.

 

Wow, that’s amazing how cheap it was. I graduated high school in 82. In 80/81 I was making minimum wage at 2.85 per hour and then got a whopping increase to either 3.15 or 3.35 per hour.

So 200 / by 3.35 is almost 60 hours.

Calif min is 15 x 60 = $900

Looks like wages aren’t keeping up, because I bet it is more than $900 to go from a single to a double. That would buy you the fibber garage door now…lol

Basically, there's a genetic advantage to being able to spot animals (predator or prey) where they hide.

 

That's not what it said. It's saying you may have an ability to determine whether Bambi is a raging lunatic or not, not that you'll be able to spot her in hiding. Besides, she's already spotted.

That factoid has always amused me.

 

Debatable too. Word on the street is that hundreds of films have had a "Bambi." Only one was male. Or so I hear.
