I was expecting something more redonculous. It almost looks like a ER6n. Kinda meh. The original Katana was a bold move from Suzuki as it was designed by a German designed (Hans Muth) At the time, was considered heresy in Japan, but proved to be a very good move because that Katana became an icon of design. The new one certainly doesn't seem to live up to it.

As I said in another thread, it's a GSXS1K with retro bodywork. Looks like even the headlight is the same. I like it better than the other Japanese retro offerings, and prefer the looks over my GSXS. No way it won't have a big ugly rear fender though...
I like it, but then again I've always liked katana's (yeah I said it publicly). I'm more inclined to buy that Honda "game changer" at this point in my life though.
believe it or not my first bike(used sv650) had white lights... not bad looked cool at night as it wasn't pointed at the ground just lit up the engine area
