The topics of how much brake pressure at turn-in and why, has always been a bit of a mystery in the motorsport world. Check out my latest Substack post where I take a deep dive on what it is all about. https://www.khcoaching.com/p/brake-pressure-at-turn-in
I released this as both a podcast and Substack article - hope you enjoy it! https://www.khcoaching.com/p/fundam...ance?r=jujt6&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web https://soundcloud.com/ken-hill-534...d&utm_medium=text&utm_campaign=social_sharing
As asked for, my review of the STRS is up! https://www.khcoaching.com/p/review-track-test-of-the-2024-triumph

Any thoughts on this versus the Duke 990? Not sure if you've had any experience with the prior or current platform to compare the two? TY!
New Substack is out! Ever wonder how the top riders and drivers can crank out consistent laps, no matter the circumstances? This post explains the basics of developing consistency and how to build your own on track plan. https://www.khcoaching.com/p/consis...from?r=jujt6&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Just saw this! Short answer, no clue. I can say this, Andy Dibrino rode an identical bike to mine with slicks at the Ridge and liked the chassis much more than KTM. Enough that he is selling his 990. Ken
No worries, Ken. Thanks for the feedback! That's great to know. Sounds like the Triumph 765 RS is the way to go! PS: When is the 2025 Masterclass calendar going to be published?
Working on it! For sure there will be 2, maybe 3 west coast dates and at least 2 east coast dates. Ken
The chassis is the highlight. The biggest challenge will be power. I know someone working with one now and with an unrestricted aftermarket ECU and pipe, they are seeing 125-126hp with excellent torque. It still needs 8-10 more to be competitive at the front. Ken
This topic ended up having a massive amount of information and I had to make a series out of it - check out Part 1! Part 1 of this three-part series on motor controls covers definitions and a breakdown of key principles, and explains why motor control precision plays a pivotal role in on-track adjustability. https://www.khcoaching.com/p/motor-controls-part-1?r=jujt6&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web
Part 2 of a three part series on Motor Controls is up! https://www.khcoaching.com/p/motor-...n=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true
Part 3 of the Motor Controls series is up! In Part 3, Ken shifts focus to an often-overlooked aspect of motor controls: inputs that are too soft, insufficient, or indecisive. Ken explains why underwhelming inputs can be just as problematic. https://www.khcoaching.com/p/fundam...n=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true
This topic has been in the works for quite awhile and is long overdue. Do you really need that new suspension, or should you be working on your riding or driving? Here's how to identify whether certain issues come down to you or your vehicle, and when it's time to look at setup. https://www.khcoaching.com/p/the-de...n=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=true
