Penske won both big races this weekend. Blaney ran into the stands also, like Newgarden, but I think he wasn't strong enough to handle the crowd....he got the hell outa there.
I heard Chase Elliot got tired of Denny ( the weasel) Hamlin’s shit and took him out! Hamlin has an exaggerated opinion of himself.
Yup, not a fan . https://nascar.nbcsports.com/2023/0...vioral,penalties revealed by NASCAR Wednesday.
The incessant crashing on restarts wouldn't be so excruciating if it weren't for the godawful insanely long drawn out pacecar laps. No other series I can think of takes as long to get back to racing as Nascar after an incident. Which is mind boggling considering how frequent they are. Clear it and go. Wtf man.
And the stage racing really sucks. I heard they started that because Goodyear couldn't produce a tire strong enough to last and the blowouts were causing injuries and crunched up cars. Those cars are just too heavy.
You heard wrong https://motorracingsports.com/why-did-nascar-start-stage-racing/ And the cars now use composite materials , which is lighter .
That’s what they want you to think, you know they’re not going to blame Goodyear for numerous blowouts and career ending injuries, let’s call it something else. The next gen car is 100 lbs lighter… down to 3300!
Ok, sure . That's why NHRA uses Goodyear's on Top Fuel & Funny Cars And if the crew chiefs would quit pushing the pressure boundaries there might not be so many issues .
I have no dog in y'all's fight but when was the last time a top fuel tire was under stress for 30 minutes?
