Oh god, NEMRR has it now that if the delay goes more than 3-5 minutes, they get sent to the paddock to put on their tire warmers for at least 15 minutes.

This is a fun thread. Everything from eating ass to refusing to use credit cards, and no one really coming tight on the benefits N2 will bring.

anyway, my post is on wait times….in my opinion most wait times have not bothered me at various tracks. I’m coming also from a parent of a USA BMX racer and once you experience the wait of registering for a BMX race anything else is faster than that. It might as well be the Motor Vehicle Dept running BMX sometimes.

and you want to talk value for $. $60 usually for 3 minutes of track time per bike. And you get to wait from 9am ish to 4pm ish to get those 3 minutes in (3) separate 1 minute motos.

N2 has already shown and brought the benefits. None of the endurance stuff would have been around if N2 didn't start off with it back in 2016.

Prior to 2016, when was the last time endurance was on the schedule?

Does N2 have a forum or will you be here bitching about them next season?

    There's plenty of N2 gripes I have that I bring up with...don't be surprised...N2 :D.

Length of riders meetings, tech requirements (they did finally drop the whole bringing gear to tech thing this year and it's been amazing).

But I see you couldn't answer my question :Poke:

Let's see, we'll maybe a hundred years before 2016? And it was always the best way to get max track time for the least money. Grids were huge, Paul Sr. was screaming at Paul Jr. and Metzeler was selling like 60 thousand ME880 240, 260, 280, 300 chopper tires a year. Then you know what happened, no not Mongo killing roadracing, and shortly after that racers abandoned the WERA endurance series? But yet track days grew, but yet the best bang for the buck was endurance racing. So isn't endurance racing just a better type of track day riding?

Not sure this is a record but asking about next year’s schedule at the end of September has to be close, no?

Yeah if they get enforced. I stopped paying attention to the times SB LWTs run in SS at VMDs. LWT races are always at the end of the days at VMD so this year I actually entered the SS race on Sunday so I could jet out a bit earlier on Sunday. And I would’ve pulled it off if I hadn’t crashed myself out on Saturday. It’s not like my 2nd gen SV in SB trim is top of the class. No one protests anyways. It’s all for fun.

IDK. When MA went back to Daytona a few years back, that wait time was a couple days. I waited a few hours and gave up after the line never moved. Came back the next day and waited a few more hours. When I got to the front I was there all of 3 mins to get my credentials. Wait times often have nothing to do with the organizers prep. It usually a person registering having no clue what they are supposed to do or what is needed. If you haven’t noticed racers are a stupid bunch.

For someone who asked to take the emotion out of it, which they did you seem pretty biased and emotional about it, just getting to page 2. Two different racers agree that having a transponder for each bike is lame. I would agree. The race orgs I have raced with allowed one for all your bikes. But you better remember to swap it! I have no dog in this fight but just thought it was kind of funny reading this so far.

You'd be amazed at what I get people upset over. We still take the protests and enforce the rules.
