This is the one that we've all been waiting for. This is by far the most hyped up Grand Prix of the year thus far. Valentino Rossi leads a pack of hungry Italians to their home race, as well as a few Spaniards that are intent on ruining their "italian dream".

Some significant notes about this upcoming GP:

-The last time that Valentino Rossi lead the championship heading into Mugello was in 2008.
-The factory Ducati team recently held a private test here in preparation for this race.
-Aprilia's seamless transmission will make it's race debut at Mugello. While testing the seamless at the Jerez post race test, Alvaro Bautista was able to slash almost a full second from his fastest race lap, so the new transmission is a promising step forward.

    Roll on FP1!

  6. As you see from my post above, I easily could have beaten you to the punch.:Poke: I let you have that out of sympathy for your stomach ailment.

I'm with MH. Ducati for the pole position, and Rossi for the win.:D

Aprilia will be first. If you count in reverse order.:D

Really looking forward to this race....lots of extra motivation for lots of folks.

    - Rossi is always a factor at Mugello.

    - Lorenzo is on a hot streak.

    - Marquez needs a win to get his chi right.

    - Ducati is desperate for a win and with the amount of testing they have done at Mugello, this is their best chance.

    - Pedro-Bot wants prove he is not on the down hill slide toward being Nicks teammate at Aspar.

MM and Lorenzo will have an epic battle, while Rossi has the best seat to watch it. MM wins by a fraction….best race of the year:up:

Dovi brings Ducati their 1st win of the season (I would say Joe but he may still be recovering from the shoulder).

I'm going with 46, but he can't qualify on the 3rd row if he wants the win.
