Happy birthday to the Chief. He was a big part of a great era of roadracing for me. I got to meet him briefly at Pomona one year. Hope he has many more.
You're a little late to his party, I'd say. Riding dirt bikes with him tomorrow at an annual private fundraising reunion ride. He's riding one of my friend and former endurance teammate's Husky 300's. We set it up at the BVS. His long-time tuner will be hanging out with us, along with a few former MX pro's and a former Team Honda manager. Been helping work on the trails for the past couple weekends.
