Ducati has chosen the track day hero path. They are that dude on the 1000 that can't hang with an SV in any of the turns but gets on the straight and passes everyone. Then brags in the pits that they are faster

 

Looks like the Ducs' power is wearing out the field....and the fields' tires.

 

If Rossi can't win, Dovi winning would be cool.

I am just surprised Petrucci had any tire left at the end. He is one of the few real sized people out there.
