Why did that article start out talking about tires, and switch to God and riders faith half way through? That was weird...
Why not just bring both tires out, think I read something about that actually they didn't want to develop both.
You've never read a Jeremy Clarkson article have you?.... The link between the intro and the actual subject can be stretched at times.
Scarperia (Italy), 1st June 2017 Movistar Yamaha MotoGP‘s Valentino Rossi is declared fit to participate in this weekend‘s Gran Premio d'Italia Oakley. Earlier this afternoon the nine-time World Champion underwent a routine medical check-up at the Autodromo del Mugello. VR46 fans from all over the world can breathe a sigh of relief, knowing that FIM Medical Director, Dr Giancarlo Di Filippo, the Chief Medical Officer of the Mugello Circuit, Dr Remo Barbagli and the MotoGP Medical Director, Dr Angel Charte have found Rossi to be in a suitable condition to take part in his home Grand Prix, starting with tomorrow‘s free practice sessions. ----- -jim
Michelin doesn't like it because it's too many tires to haul around and the riders don't like it because it's too many options to test and choose from (on a race weekend).
This makes me happy. I also liked seeing that CEIII attended his service. Did many other professional racers attend? I've been curious about that.
They don't even need to do that. They could have two or three constructions, with each rider choosing one for the duration of the season. (Maybe they get to change their minds once during the season.) Then all of them get the same three compounds wrapped around that chosen construction.
