No clue who would argue that. Never heard anyone argue that either but I do ignore the truly dumb stuff.

MM is a punk ass 25 yr old who DOES NOT know what he is doing all of the time. No 25 yr old ever has and never will.

He just happens to be on a world stage where everyone expects him to be a genius because of some of his talent.

Right now, and in the past, on the track, he’s a fucking twit most of the time.

Right now, Rossi is THE most experienced and accomplished rider on the planet, simply by age and length of career.

So, if MM looks like a twit, rides like a twit, acts like a twit, and Rossi thinks he’s a twit, he’s a fucking twit.

Nothing wrong with a rider protecting himself when another rider is leaning in on him. Shoulder, arm, leg whatever. I’m not letting you just lean on me.

There is a difference though when a rider dive bombs the apex and berms another rider.

So by that logic when Ago, who is the other main contender for best rider ever, calls out Rossi for being overly dramatic I guess that must be true too...

So to summarize 42 pages, everyone who actually races thinks these "pass attempts" (I call them rammings) are bullshit.

No doubt the kid is incredibly talented BUT:

If you raced like this at a WERA weekend, what do you think would happen? I bet the locals would take you behind the woodshed and have a good talking to you....

  14. Lots of people have broken bones due to being hit my someone, including me. Every piece of hardware in my body is the result of being hit by someone.

Rossi was tossed down on his side, not far off the pavement. He could have EASILY broken a collarbone. Only reason he didn’t is because of luck, and a good airbag suit.

Imagine how all of this had went if this immature little fucker took someone out, and ruined their season.

What was the total number of times he used someone as a berm in that one race? It is only a matter of time...

For me as a racer I have NEVER hit or "rubbed" on anyone, I started racing the fall after I graduated HS. I started racing WERA vintage in 2000. I have been rubbed on one time and hit causing me to crash once and hit in turn 9 at Roebling while leading on a wet track by a bone head move by another racer that caused me to run off onto the wet grass and I was able to return to the track without falling....

When I am racing on a wet track I take the track conditions into account every time I pass someone. MM is undeniably a phenomenal motorcycle racer BUT.... when I listened to his explanation I just laugh... the incident occurred at the end of lap 19, MM had previously ridden through that corner 18 times and the wet spot suddenly appeared the 19th time he rode through that corner???. He chose to put his bike on that spot!. Just because you can be faster on every part of the track than every other competitor does not mean you have the right to attempt to occupy the same space they are riding on. I was pissed when they eliminated the Spies rule laying the red carpet out for MM and then coddled his abusive riding habits creating the current situation....

    caboose I love peanut butter!

Does hitting Pedrosa, severing the wheel speed sensor cable, and subsequently causing a massive highside and injury, qualify as ruining his season?

The biggest problem I have with this is kind of related to what Rossi said.

The next generation of Amateur Ricky Racers are getting the attitude that they can make moves that would have gotten you punched in the face 5 years ago. There is more beating and banging going on in club racing and the attitude is coming from the top.

And as a side note, it's never the asshole (MM in this case) that suffers. Usually it's the person they hit.

Kinda how in the last few years every race that Rossi won was referred to as a "masterclass win". Marquez and Dovi won a bunch of races last year and they were just "meh wins". Rossi wins one and it's a MASTERCLASS!! OMG!! lol I like the guy even though I think some of the shit he says in interviews makes him sound like a whiner, and he's done more for this sport than anyone else. But his fanbase overall needs to just chill the fuck out sometimes. Seems like lots of people are Rossi fans not MotoGP fans. Wonder how many people will stop following the sport once he actually retires. Personally, I'm a much bigger fan of the sport and kinda enjoy seeing these rivalries, although I could do without the BS drama.

Riding like that will have you lose your license if you do it too much... I'll cut people a break for being stupid and inexperienced and so on but there is a limit and when it comes to other riders safety I hit that limit pretty quickly. For MMs situation, when he hit the first person after the ride through he'd have been called back to pit lane so we could discuss how the fastest rider on track should be able to pass cleanly. One of my favorite moves I've learned from Sublet :D
