Did Martin actually come out and say he'll be racing? Would love to see the #1 under the lights! It will also be interesting to see team with the experience of the Americas Flyaway under their belts run Qatar. With its usual position at the front of the calendar I feel like it's Pot Luck who will be fast in the first sessions. Anyone else got Diggia for the win? -T
For the VR46 crowd to relive the glory days: https://x.com/MotoGP/status/1909229760170938380?t=EpaFCGfeWvbXtsQgHwvM3A&s=19
Thanks Bird. I’m loving the two week spacing of races. It’s just enough time to get the urge of wanting another race weekend. This has never been one of Marc’s tracks but he’s usually always been up there with the lead. I think with how he’s been riding that this will be an Argentina like weekend. It’ll be the factory Ducatis against the VR46 Ducatis against Alex. Throw Fermin in for a top 9.
I'm just throwing some hopeful positivity toward Yamaha and Honda to have some solid results. Yamaha used to love this track.
So far this year they've had some of the highest top speeds posted. The Honda's are the only ones typically down 4-6mph on the rest which seem to all now be really close with KTM 1-2 ahead on top at most. Gone are the days when Dovi on the Duc would just crush dudes by 20 bike lengths there on the main straight.
Interested to learn what @Robby-Bobby's ringer Bodie gets to do in Qatar. He's certainly gotten someone else's attention: Also interesting to read that Rob is actively working to secure funding to add another bike and rider to his team. All cool stuff!
Anyone else notice how much better the mood is in the HRC box without Puig being there this year? Funny how that works.
