I used to live in Vermont October until April Snow. I was born in Colorado. Wolf Creek Ski Resort opened last week and closes in May. I snowboarded Mt Hood Oregon years ago in July. The mountain is open year round some years. Siberia?
It seems the riders are all in agreement to fix homes in Valencia, not race circuits. The biggest problem moving it to another track seems to be the tires. I wonder what tracks use the same tires as Valencia near Valencia. I hope it’s Aragon.
morbidly, i have it saved on an old hard drive somewhere in my closet to serve as a reminder to myself. what a sad day.
I've never been able to watch that race. I woke up and read what happened and never watched the race.
Man Its crazy how certain events people remember, like old timers talking about where they were when Kennedy was shot. I vividly remember that I was on a trip with my then new GF/Baby mama and woke up to watch the race and felt like a fucking bitch crying that early. I dont cry much, but thats probably one of 5 times shes ever seen me cry in 15 years. Sorry to be morbid, but somehow you can still watch the entire race and the crash and commentary as everything unfolds. Chilling to see the officials walking to each team box to inform them. Ugh, I wish nobody brought it up, but its the only negative part of the sport other than the cost. RIP SIC
I watched it delayed but had seen a fb post that mentioned Marco but in looked away to avoid the spoiler. I laughed to myself that he either won or died. I was a huge fan of his after his presser with Jorge. The next march I got my expert plates. 58.
Unfortunately, I remember almost everything about that. I was feeding a bottle to my little guy, and I was thinking someday you might ride. The race gets started, then it's over. I remember all the replays, the stretcher, him falling off, them putting him back on. the Red flag, and then just the Quiet. Sepang International Circuit (SIC) RIP SIC 58
... and next to last in PR, now that the rest of the field is getting up to speed / track conditions improve. Still, being within 2 seconds of the front of the pack is pretty dang good.
Sheesh I hope I’m wrong but it appears the 24’s are in their own race….. holy shit Ai getting up to speed faster than I thought. I was just thinking, the last time he rode a MotoGp bike, they were very much analog compared to today’s right? trying to remember which version he rode, I know it was before aero and ride height. I think he was on the stoner Gen before Gigi? Damn I hate not remembering shit
nah, none of the stoner ducs, beginning of the Rossi ducs tho. 13/14 with pramac, 15/16 with the factory. gigi entered the game and turned around the rossi ducs in 13
Also, Rossi scored one single “cool point” for actually calling and giving AI a shot. Without it, we would never see I’m in GP again probably. so as much as I love picking on Rossi, this was a badass gesture to a dude that probably had “it” instead of playing scientist with meats.
Quattro: “We tried the new engine, as you saw with the long exhaust, and we had an issue; we broke the engine. “I don’t know if it’s broken or not, but at least it stopped on the straight and we could not fix it for this weekend.” https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1059366/1/blow-fabio-quartararo-new-yamaha-engine-breaks
He talks about the new bikes here: https://www.crash.net/motogp/news/1059374/1/andrea-iannone-its-another-motogp-unbelievable
