I had reached out to him over the weekend, and he referred me to a sign-up site https://www.motorsportreg.com/event...in-raceway-road-motoamerica-volunteers-643181 I'm trying to figure out whether I want to camp out in a tent, drag my bare bones trailer down, or just get a hotel ($$$).
Hotels near the track / on the 85 side are full or $200+ per night. Over on the 985 side, like $135 and up and plenty of rooms currently.
When your SSP runner up and up and coming American talent can't find a ride for the following year it's not a good look for the series.
yep -they are mostly booked. I just snagged a room at the Quality Inn in Flowery Branch. Hopefully I won't wake up in a bathtub full of ice, wondering where my left kidney is.
There are rumors (because CU didnt want to flat out say the name) that he was one of two riders offered a paid ride on the Team Hammer superbike, but his people (parents?) turned it down. I don't think the problem is finding a ride. I think his parents want to do their own thing and control the team aspect. They ended up failing to secure funding at the end of the day.
