Fong is taking a different carrier path. I heard through the grapevine he is now working directly for Alpinestars in racing services. He will be in the paddock assisting riders.

 

All of them on fast bikes as well. None of those guys on a Suzuki either? Maybe Darren James?

 

Will we see Mesa on that Robem Aprilia in STK1000? They said they were testing for 2022 at barber last year iirc? Why is the aprilia not a more popular bike? Cost?

 

I would like to see Cody Wyman on a good twin. I think he wasted a year on the R3 and is just too big for a Jr bike. I think he has some good racecraft and can be competitive on a good bike. The Twins class is going to be stacked and will probably have great racing all season. I predict at least 5 different winners this year.

The new RSV4 only comes in an 1100 I believe.

Fraser Rogers was running one in BSB SuperStock last year. MSVR has more strict rules for their SuperStock class than MA's Stock1000 class though. They also run on DOT Pirelli SuperCorsa's.

1100cc Aprilia's are hit with a 4kg weight penalty and must run a Spec "control" ECU and dash. I believe this is a MoTeC model that at MSVR/BSB discretion they can add or take away rider aids, and make changing to the throttle map. No TC on DOT's for 15-20 laps sounds fun lol..
