They started as base models. To be clear, I am just being a wise ass and sayin' something could happen based on the ZX (and for that matter the R1) line expanding after the initial model intro...
I didn't say that, but in theory something like that could happen, like Kaw and Yam extending the initial model line up. And if so, an RR model extension would already exist and be undergoing R&D and testing. So, to be a wise ass, saying that there is absolutely no such thing as an RR could be an incorrect leap of faith...or not!
When does a RR begin? When the engineer opens CATIA (sp?) on his computer, or when it shows up at the dealership?
Well you see, when a mommy and a daddy love each other a whole bunch they get really really close and.....
It is almost like a battle to see who can fit the most R's in their name. I'm waiting for the GRSXR-RR1000RRR.
You weren't into sport bikes in the 80s and 90s. You can't understand the importance of Rs. Each additional one is worth 10 HP or 5 mph, measured at the brochure. Crucial stuff.
Rs are so important that the fast and furyfisted started R'ing everything. Civics, Integras, Sentras, Jettas. . . it was SSing of the 90s tuning community. Idiots.
That's where you get into the magic end of it - it depends on the sticker. And you have to be careful as some will cancel out others - Pit Bull with a Powerstands one for example. Or Sprocket Specialties and Renthal or RK.
And remember you can only turn an R1S into an R1R, if you want an R1RR you need to start with an R1M.
So you are saying maybe possibly there's a chance but you aren't sure? I'm sure glad you listened when I requested you to stop stating facts
