    I’d skip the Paddock Pass if you aren’t dead set on getting it. I thought it would get me in everywhere but it did not. Apparently there is another level that gets you in the real paddock where all the action is...the $250 a piece ones got us one side viewing only it seemed you see only a few things they want you to see up close. It wasn’t worth it.

    Are the MotoAmerica paddocks open access, or do you have to buy a MA-specific pass?

    Those were open last year when I was there. Different world where one can actually have a conversation with one of the riders.

    I'll be doing a two week motorcycle tour with some friends. We're doing the Barber Museum on Monday the 30th and then heading for COTA via some random twisty roads after that.

    Thanks. That’s what I was thinking. Even on TV I can see that their pits are not conducive to us mere mortals seeing the hardware or people. If it were like old school NHRA I’d be in.
