VIR is in Alton, Va, in my home county of Halifax. Please fix the schedule, if that is not too much trouble. Thank You, Darrin Talbott
Picky picky. And people call me anal. If you want to get picky, Road Atlanta isn't in Atlanta. Either is Atlanta Motor Speedway. Have you bugged them to change their name?
But Danville is where all the accommodations are. Besides one hick town or another....what difference does it make?
So what should we use to identify Road Atlanta's location? Let's see if you know the local geography. BTW ... you forgot to mention Atlanta Dragway in Commerce.
Yeah, that may be right, Mike, but at least it ain't in no hick country! (Jes kidding, I know all all about the Canada's contributions in WWII)
and AMS is in....Hampton,Ga! What town is that other little NASCAR track in, you know the one, Talladega?...is sure ain't in Talladega.
Yup, Gomer'd find that a right sensible idea'r. How do you spell the name of anyone living south of the Ohio River??? R-E-D-N-E-C-K [This message has been edited by Eric (edited 12-05-2001).]
Naw, VIR is not in Danville, South Boston, or Alton, is it Darrin? It's in Leggett's Bottom, you bunch of city slickers.
BZZT. Sorry, wrong answer. Here are two hints. The two names that were used in the past are related to a nut and a tree limb. Granted, Braselton is the accepted location these days, but I seem to recall these two names being used back in the 70's.
DING DING DING ... correct! That was one of them. For some reason, I seem to recall that city being used at the location of Road A. Now there is a community name in the vicinity of the track ... you pass a small sign with its name as you approach it. That is the other name I am looking for.
