After dementia robbed her mind her body finally gave out as well. She became aspirated last night (I couldn't help but ask normal or forced) and was too weak to shake it off. 86 years and most were pretty good according to her before she started slipping away. I got to sit with her right up to the end so it was nice. If you raced in the southeast in the early 90's your wife or girlfriend probably ran into her in a trackside bathroom. If my vehicle was heading to a racetrack, she would find a way in it whether she liked the current girlfriend or not. She loved her some Grant Lopez and that nerdy kid Josh he brought with him.
RIP to your mother, and condolences to you, your family, her extended loved ones, and all whose lives she blessed. Grateful you were with her when she passed.
Sorry man. I was lucky to get up and see my mom the last day or two of her life after not seeing her for awhile. Regret not seeing her when she was “there” but I was there when she passed. Really, sorry man.
Sorry for your loss. RIP to your Mother, So glad to hear that you have great memories of her and that you were there for her until the end.
Godspeed mom.....I'm sure she was very appreciative to have her son there to the end to see her on her way.
