On the other hand, the electric motorcycle subsidiary LiveWire reported a 98% improvement in sales in the third quarter compared to the same period last year, but the operating loss worsened from $105 million to $115 million – which is in line with expectations.

The electric brand sold 374 units this year (146 in 2023), and the operating loss also worsened for the total from January to September: from $81,874 to $83,494.

Which bikes?
My 1190 Adventure standard 19” front has held up great. I have run pretty rocky roads at 80mph taking some good hits without issue.

I hate the stupid rear wheel band to seal the spokes though.

 

Polaris got f**ked hard by a year with basically no snow west of Pennsylvania. Not that they can make anything that holds together either.

Harley extra fucked themselves and now with the woke bullshit....... they will die without a bailout in 5 years, my guess.

KTM parallel HinDukes...... My 890R is a riot, for me perfect ergos and handling. but dem cams gonna need replacin'.

Shoulda kept my 2015 1290, still think it's a better bike than the gen 3 and now the 1390. 2017-2018 is the perfect gen.

Yep, I love my 1190...rode it to work today while I still can. It took me 2 previous KTM's to find the one that was perfect for me. And Britt is happy
