Comedy is supposed to have an element of "danger" to it. It should cut, make you think, as well as make you laugh.

Carlin is a comedian and funny. Don Rickles is a comedian and funny. Bruce was a comedian and funny. Cook is not.

Isn't Dane Cook the guy that did the bit about Catholic Church where he like to screw with the priest? That was hilarious.

You know what's not funny at all?
Fat comedians who do all 'fat-ass' routines.
Black comedians who do 'nigger' jokes.
Mexican comedians who do 'beaner' jokes.
Jews who do 'kike' jokes.
Homosexuals who do 'faggot' jokes.

It's getting old and it just isn't that funny. Everytime I see a mexican or black or fat comedian come on I know what half the routine will be already. About big families picking beans, running with a TV, or not being able to climb the stairs.

 

Carlin was on a local Boston radio station this morning. Still funny but man is he getting old. It took a second for me to realize that it was Carlin and not Don Imus...

 

You do know that that.... as well as his 'run-in' with Tommy Lee... were publicity stunts for his latest album, right?
