Just make sure they can have a link back to an actual business.
Maybe you have a Flight Company...
Or a "critter control" company for hogs
or..

 

yeah I’m gonna call my old boss because he has survived audits with his small business and an airplane. I’ve been kicking around some ideas of some side things to do while I sit on my ass all day in hotels

 

This brings up some obvious questions about Roth 401k or traditional.

If you want a bigger house, go for it. Doing it for tax savings is not sound logic.

 

That’s airplane purchasing logic!

 

Id rather owe a few hundy than expect a refund. I'm positive that"s the way the IRS wants it as well.
Does your employer offer any pretax savings or benefits? That can save you a few bucks.
